Are you using MenuMeters? When I first set my Mini 9 up (last May, DellEFI 1.2a5, OS X 10.5.7), I installed MenuMeters because I used it on my desktop Mac. I got kernel panic after kernel panic, like several per hour.
I remembered reading something about MenuMeters doing something (don't know what) not-quite-kosher from a programming standpoint, and that it might cause problems. It had always worked great on my desktop Mac.
Anyway, I uninstalled MenuMeters, and I now have maybe one kernel panic per month. I can't guarantee that's what it was, but, well, it seems to have helped.
BTW, I've never been able to find a log left in the wake of a kernel panic. Anyone know where to look?
