Default Old mechdrew guide - installing 10.5.7, still valid? - 09-15-2009, 10:35 AM

Hi all

I'm once again addressing the power of your infinite wisdom..

I have a Mini 10v, latest BIOS, 160gb HDD and 1gb of RAM.

I have an XP machine to use for the install, no Mac, no external optical drive and a 2gb and 8gb USB stick. I was going to use the following guide:

Old 7: Installing Mac OS X Using Two USB Drives (Windows-only) | Guides | OS X | mechdrew

..but there are warnings that it's an older guide. Is there anything I should look out for, or is it still perfectly valid? It feels to me like I should proceed with caution, but I can't see any other guide that's more up to date with my setup.

Thank you as always,
