Before the reorganization there were a number of older threads in the OS X forum about this problem. If you turn off BT
with the Dell software in Windows there is pretty much no way to turn it back on from OS X. (There are ways, take quite a bit of effort.) I'd assume those threads would be under the general Mac subforum now.
So if you have a dual boot system always make sure you've got BT
on before you boot to OS X.
If you're switching from Windows to OS X remember to turn BT
on before you start installing OS X. If its too late and you've already switched OS's you'll need to hunt down those older threads. I believe they did their magic by creating a linux usb stick and used an airport manager utility for linux to re-enable BT
