Dell Mini10v and DellEFI1.2a5 issues

trying to install dual boot. got as far as installing dellEFI1.2a5

when i open progrm, i get message:

"it does not appear that you are running this software on a dell mini 9. Are you sure you want to continue?"

i said no, just in case. any suggestions/ideas? thanks, p

You can say Yes. DellEFI wasn't designed originally for the 10v, only the 9. The hardware is nearly identical, so it's fine. I do the same with DellEFI 1.1 on my 10v.

which version should i use? and, in essence, whats the purpose of the dellefi? thanks, p

hi, fast question for those that might now...

set up 2 partion:

1 win7
2 Mac os-x


when dell mini10 starts, goes to microsoft boot loader.

get options for partion 1 or 2

if i chose 1, win 7; starts right up.

if i chose option 2, mac os-x, wont load.

need usb stick with dell mini bootloader to run os-x

is my iisue in using indows bootloader?

followed steps in link for installing win7 and mac os-x using vista machine.

don't know what/where i went wrong....thinking ms bootloader?

any help greatly appreciated, thanks
