Took me two hours one night, and that's after having to restart the install because I screwed something up.

It's all in the guides in the OS X forum. This is the 10v discussion forum. You might want to go over there and look around (hint.)
Where did that link "boot off the loader CD that's available here" go?

Also it appears that 63oh.com died, so I cannot get any help there.

I think I am close I just need either a mac to figure out what fdisk commands they are trying to run here:

How to Build a Hackintosh with Snow Leopard, Start to Finish

Because they say run:

fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk2

But normal fdisk doesn't even have a f or y option and because I dont already own a Mac, this command becomes difficult to interpret.

Apparently I am suppose to load chameleon to my USB drive after loading the install DVD to my external drive. Then do a dd command (which I have on linux) and then do something with netkas.org where all the links to boot loaders are dead.

I have no idea what they are trying to get me to do, but ome continuity on how to do this would be really nice.

WolfKeeper you seem to be (or have been) on to something (considering you got it working). Could you go into a little more depth on the process you used?

Thanks!

Hahaha, sucker.

SL retail disk is $20. Assuming you already own a USB stick, the rest is free.

Wait so does that usb work for the mini 10v? All I have to do is buy it and plug it in, and boot from usb to install on my hard drive?

I did a little more searching. It seems that if i get this, i can skip the part of copying the dvd to usb and just create the smaller usb with mechdrew's linux method here http://osx.mechdrew.com/guides/nbi2.shtml

is this correct?

You need:

2 USB sticks, one of which is 8GB or more.
Snow Leopard retail disk.
Mechdrew's guide.
A linux machine (or Live CD)

And that's it. Don't splash $70 at some scammer.
