Default Bricked 1012??? - 02-09-2012, 12:07 AM

I have a 1012 that i have replaced the screen on as it was cracked.

On powering the machine up it was dead, the power light comes on but no hard drive noise, screen or bios /post.

I put the hdd into another laptop to see if it powered up and it gave an error about hibernation!!

I tried a spare hdd and it whirred but the screen didnt come on!

Is there anything I can try now?

sounds like you have multiple problems, 1st putting the HD in a different system and getting a hibernation error, you should be able to ignore the hibernation boot error and just continue the reboot with a new Windows startup, 2nd if you tried another screen you maybe might have a mobo problem or the 2nd screen is NG.....
