Default Dead keys! - 03-23-2011, 02:00 PM

As of this morning, the keys have a mind of their own. I can't even log in as I can't type the whole password.

Not all of the numbers work, and ASDFJKL do not work.

Update, just restarted again and I've logged in. But a few seconds in and the keyboard has stopped working again. This time, the above letters work but nothing else, and the backspace keys types out as [] but smaller.

Also, every time I click a web link, a new tab opens everytime!

Any help appreciated!

Your <ctrl> key may be "stuck". You may try pressing on each of them several times to see if it starts working.

I'm having a similar problem with my right arrow key; it keeps sticking. I've taken it apart and tried to clean under it, but keeps sticking. It would suck to have to replace the whole thing for one stuck key.
