Question Can't start bluetooth - 03-01-2011, 10:19 AM

In the MY BLUETOOTH PLACES window when I click on ADD A BLUETOOTH DEVICE or VIEW MY BLUETOOTH SERVICES or VIEW DEVICES IN RANGE... I am told that no local bluetooth device was detected.
Its status is active but under the device properties I see-
The selected device is stopped.
To start the device, in the windows system tray, right click the bluetooth icon and then select start the bluetooth device....
But the problem is I no longer have the bluetooth icon there.
I tried to find it in the 'taskbar and start menu properties' but its not there.

How to I start this stopped device??
Or do I need some other devices along with dell wireless 365 bluetooth module? If its same for all dell minis please check yours and tell me.
I use windows xp home edition service pack 3.

Please check your bluetooth configuration and tell me.
Go to 'my bluetooth places'. on the left side of the window click view or modify configuration > diagnostics, and tell me what devices are there.
