Default Anyone installed a Mini PCI-e SSD in their 1012? - 02-19-2011, 12:58 AM

Has anyone installed a Mini PCI-e SSD in their Mini 1012? My refurb came with a Broadcom Crystal HD Decoder card. Is it possible to swap that with an SSD?

I don't think a "Mini PCIe" SSD will work outside of a dedicated "Mini PCIe" SSD slot. And even if I'm wrong, I don't think that particular slot gives you enough room for a typical "Mini PCIe" SSD.
