Hey I decided to try Windows XP on my 1012 and before trying to do something and mess up my mini, I taught it would be a good idea to ask a few questions to the pros... Is it possible to remove the hard drive from my mini then put it in my desktop and then install xp from there? and wiill the 64 bit version of XP be compatible? Thanks in advance and sorry for my awful english... Current system setup: Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 (Alpine White), 2GB ram, 56Wht 6 Cells battery, stock screen, dual booted Windows XP Pro & Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. |

I think I messed up really bad once again... I installed XP on my hard drive from my desktop and now when I try to boot my mini i get a 0.0003 second long blue screen... I took a video and I don't know why it's upside down sorry about that!  Problem fixed/solved*************** Current system setup: Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 (Alpine White), 2GB ram, 56Wht 6 Cells battery, stock screen, dual booted Windows XP Pro & Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. |
