Default How fast the platters on my mini 1012 - 11-21-2010, 05:27 AM

are spinning. I have the W2500BEVT-75A23T0 on it. Base on this link, I got 7200 rpm. Is this correct?

The BEVT drives are from WD's Scorpio Blue line. They're 5400rpm.

like reflex said the Scorpio blues run @5400rpm, they are WD's middle class line, they also have the "Black" line either Scorpio Black or Cavier I think and they are more expensive and run at 7200rpm and usually not available in the same sizes as the Blue line...when I was upgrading my HD from 500gb to 750gb I actually wanted a 7200rpm 'Black' and couldnt find one so I had to settle for the 5400rpm 'Blue'
