Default Why are there two Intel 3150 display adapters in the device manager - 09-02-2010, 09:26 AM

and three monitors, two connected to the first adapter and one to the second.

One adapter with two monitors (internal and external) makes sense, but what is the other adapter and monitor?

Remove all of them from the Device Manager then restart the system. Let the Windows to recognise the new devices. (maybe you should manually install the 3150 driver).
Normally you should find in the Device Manager only one 3150 and one monitor.

They are all added back. Are you saying that on 32bit xp on 1012 you only have one adapter and one monitor? Or are you using win7 x64? Can anyone else, running xp, please post what they see.
