Just thought I'd update you all to let you know how the new 1012 is.
It was delivered quickly, well package in a Dell box and still had all the protective plastic around it. It is perfect, no marks or anything!
I've been using it now for a week and it's great, it is close to the speed of the 10v, maybe a little faster, but where it stands out is on the Display and video performance. With updated Broadcom drivers and updated Flash I can now watch BBC iPlayer and YouTube without a problem, these where a no go for the 10v at any decent quality. WMV files are even better and it plays HD actually quite well.
The higher res screen means it's much better for general working on the web, documents and spreadsheets this packaged with the 6 cell battery gives me hours of use.
To sum it all up, I'm a happy owner of a Mini 1012!
Of course I will be updating it now with more memory, Windows 7 Pro and maybe an SSD.
So thanks to everyone for your help!
