Default Mini 1012 Model Numbers? - 06-25-2010, 01:51 AM

With all the upgrade options there are a lot of model numbers for these 1012's out there, when shopping for them online, it is hard to know what to google, and compare because if you google mini 1012, you get everything from basic to the most advanced. Does anyone understand the model numbers enough to tell the difference, or does anyone know how to find what model numbers carry different features? I wish there was a guide...

1012 is the model number of a specific machine. There are other models, 1010, 1011 but they are completely different machines. The 1012 really doesn't even have very many options, just different size hard drives, bluetooth, different network cards, HD display, HD video accelerator card, and a few others. Do you have any specific questions we can answer? You can go do Dell's web site and see what's available on the different mini models.

The 1012 is the latest NETBOOK sporting the new Atom Pinetrail processor, wikipidia it. It also has a new case design, and options like gspears has pointed out.
