I have managed to locate the correct driver, luckily I had it on my main desktop PC, guess what, it says there is no SRS device present, hence why I have very quiet sound - usually once the SRS control panel is on I get wonderfully loud full sound.

I have worked out that when they fitted the new motherboard, they must have fitted the wrong one because I have the older Intel 3150 graphics controller instead of the NM10 and there is no SRS Audio Device

To say I am pissed off is an understatement, I just dont know what to do next. If I phone Dell all I am going to get is India and they just do not understand.

Oh one more thing..... the recovery partition doesn't work either!!!
