I just bought a new Dell Mini 1012 the other day, so I'm trying to get used to it's intricacies. I did some searching here and on the web and didn't quite find an answer. Everything I saw was 1-2 years old.
I'm looking to dual boot the Win7 Starter and Ubuntu Notebook Edition (UNE). It seems that UNE can be booted/run from a USB flash drive. I want to be as small and mobile as possible, and don't quite want a USB stick constantly sticking out the side of the Mini. So I wanted to know if it's also possible to do the same from an SD card and have it boot from there.
If so, then how big of an SD card do I need? 4GB? 8GB? 16GB? And will it make a difference if it's a faster card? (Class 2 vs. Class 4 vs. Class 6)
Lastly, if I have no choice but to boot it from USB, how big of a USB stick do I need?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
