this utility will install windows on your USB
before you do that try this:
so long as you haven't done anything to the hidden partitions on the Mini (one either side of the one containing all your files), you can re-image your netbook back to factory settings. If all OK, when you boot the Mini and you see "www.dell.com" at the top of the screen, press ctrl+F11. You should then be asked whether you want to re-install to factory state - just follow the prompts. Obviously make sure you've backed up any personal files first.
if that doesnt work then read on:
using the utility above:
make sure you do the RMprepUSB on the 1st screen, and on the 2nd screen pick windows xp and check off bootable...then go into your bios and enable "Legacy USB" so it will boot to the USB flash and not the HD..try to do a repair 1st otherwise you will have to do a fresh install....
PS. make sure that the Flashdrive is atl least 4gb....8gb is better
