Hi gang, first I'd like to say how much I've enjoyed researching the Dell Mini's on this site, really good stuff. Just a quick question...I've been looking to buy a 6-cell battery for the 1012, but cannot find one anywhere (OEM or 3rd party). Does anyone know where to find one of these? Thanks much! |

have you bought the 1012 yet?....are you in the US? I just saw that Staples version of the 1012 comes with the 6cell..  also if you are in the UK when you spec it out on the Dell site..it comes with the 6cell also EDIT: I just noticed your ID name, I guess by that you are in New Jersey....try Staples... Thanks for the welcome!!! I actually bought one for my mother last week (from Dell Outlet...came out to be $194 + tax for obsidian/3-cell/160/1gb/etc. using a 15% off coupon) that came with the 3-cell and I'd like to get her the 6-cell, but can't find one ANYWHERE Maybe the 1012 is still too new to have the full breadth of accessories out... |
