Default graphics card - 03-13-2010, 12:07 AM

How do u tell what graphic card is in the mini 1012? when i ordered it said Intel NM10 Express. but under device manager, it says this under display adapters: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150

There is no graphics card. The graphics processor is built in to the CPU. Intel calls the processor GMA3150. NM10 Express is the support chip on the motherboard which handles USB, disk drives, etc.

then why do they call the NM10 a video card?

Because they made a mistake. It's not even like the previous generation where the graphics adapter was in the chipset. But their setup for describing configurations probably can't cope with CPU integrated graphics right now.
