Default Have the 1012 TV setup? - 03-04-2010, 01:59 AM

Since this new mini is starting to get into peoples hands can any of you talk about the TV module.
Have you opened yours up to see what it is using for Digital TV? Is it the Avery mini PCI-e card? Does it look like you can have both the TV and the Broadcom decoder or is there only one slot available?

I know it does not seem to be offered now but I thought I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I may have been on a Dell European site or maybe it was the Mini10V. I have a spare Avermedia TV card and if I could use it that would be great. I've been looking at every miniPC out there and I keep coming back to the Dell 1012 as the sweet spot for me. It has the most options and hackable potential to make it interesting. I'm hoping there will be a good sale around the next holiday and I can pick one up.

PS I knew I saw it somewhere and here it is on Amazon. Digital TV model in stock and for sale.
It seems to say it has the broadcom card but that is unclear as it is not mentioned in the feature list but the HD display is.
Also it does not say it has Bluetooth which I could add myself if the connector is there.
