Default Help! Problem after upgrading the memory Mini1012 - 02-26-2010, 02:16 AM

Can someone please help me! I upgraded the memory of my Mini1012 from 1gb to 2gb of ram. After i successfully replaced the memory and tried to turn it on. It won't boot up. I hear 4 beeps and it keeps repeating. Does anybody here what it means? I also put it back the original 1gb of ram and the beeps didn't go away. Please help!

The memory may not be inserted correctly. Take it out and then put it back at an angle and push in firmly until most of the copper edge disappears into the socket and then push it down so it clips into place.
