A supplier I get dell parts from says it's a 365 wireless. I ordered one to see if it really works. I'll let you know.
Well it works. I decided to go ahead and tear the system apart and it was exactly as I thought. There is a small plug on the right under the palmrest that you just plug the 365 module into. Just plug it in, reassemble, download the software, and viola, it works correctly. I'm using a bluetooth mouse as I type this.
The only problem I ran into is that you are supposed to screw the little module down after you plug it in, but I didn't have the little screw. I think it's the same one that you screw the 1397 or 1510 down with, but I'm not sure.
So it's pretty easy. I pulled out the 1397 and stuck a 1510 in also and now it goes 300 instead of 54. Nice improvement.
This unit is the low end 1012 without PCM sockets, but the little plug for the 365 was there.
