I think that its M$ that put the limit on the 1gb for netbooks (running XP, with Vista they allow 2gb..not sure about Win 7) and 2nd the Mini 10's have no dedicated Video RAM so the system must use the core RAM for video...not sure if I explained it right but thats the general idea......
