Default Any mention of a WLED screen? - 01-10-2010, 07:09 PM

I'm assuming the new Mini 10's are backlighted by CCFL, as it doesn't specify. Has anyone seen/heard of a WLED screen being an option?

I find the extra brightness very handy using the Mini in direct sunlight or outdoors. Not to mention the less power draw the LED screen offers.

Why do you assume that? From everything I have read, the screen is WLED.

Thanks for the reply Steve. That's good news.

The reason I assumed it was CCFL was because on the old Mini 10 tech specs it lists a LED display specifically:

Glossy 10.1 inch HD display (1366x768) WLED
Whereas on the new Mini 10 tech specs, it doesn't:

That was the only reason really.
