I currently get zero TV signals, so cannot even be sure the tuner is working.

I must say that after the drama with the moving delivery dates (6/23 / 7/14 / 6/26 / 6/21), I am not very happy with Dell, even if the mini itself is nice.
Sitting on my Mini 10 now with hd + tv tuner. No external lead or anything and can't get any channels :/

Looks like Dell Dropped the ball on this one.

You can hook up 50 and 75 ohm cables even though that's not technically correct. There's loss issues with transmission equipment, but I doubt you'll see anything weird with the cabling on a receiver like the laptop.

Additionally, has anyone found the Dell TV application? I can't find it on the drivers page and its not on the Drivers CD?!

Edit: Found it on the drivers CD. "Cyberlink DVB-T Supporting Module"

Well it has been over a week and I have yet to get a straight answer from dell. I have had about 8 phone calls and about 15 emails with dell on this issue. The last person I talked to, opened an EPP ticket for missing or wrong or damaged shipment. He thinks the Antenna was supposed to come with the unit. Not sure about that. I have an adapter (MCX Male to BNC Femail) arriving hopefully today. There was no assistance from Dell on determining what adapter to get. Will see if it works when I connect to my DTV antenna and/or Satellite Receiver.

Dell is totally out to lunch on this one. Clues are on sale isle 9! Buy one

Yesterday I received the cable I order from InkPool. Part number "F-M-MCX-M-5" that is a Male MCX to Male F. So the Male MCX goes into the Mini 1010 and the Male F end goes to standard COAX cable to your outdoor antenna (or to any indoor antenna). After hooking it up to my Digital HD Antenna, I now get all my local channels with excellent quality. Sometimes I get hesitation in the picture, but for the most part it is fine. Full screen is more jerky than windowed.

UPDATE:

I have since installed a new 320gb Disk drive and installed Windows 7 RC 1. It installed so easy. The only devices that it did not find drivers for were the TV Tuner, The Web Cam and one other I still don't know what it is.

To get the TV Tuner to work under Windows 7 I installed the following drivers of the Drivers disk:
R214966.EXE 5/5/2009 8:11:17 PM 1,691 kb Hauppauge Internal ATSC DRVR XP
R215050.EXE 5/5/2009 8:11:49 PM 1,634 kb Hauppauge Internal DVB-T DRVR XP 32 & 64 Bit

I did NOT install the CyberLink software instead I used Windows Media Center. It works fine.

For the Web Cam I installed the following:
R219068.EXE 5/5/2009 8:05:21 PM 4,649 kb Creative Labs Intergrated Camera DRVR Vista 32-bit

For the Elantech Touchpad I installed:
R216013.EXE 5/5/2009 8:05:41 PM 5,067 kb Elantech Elantech TouchPad DRVR Vista

The Wireless Enable/Disable util is:
R212714.EXE 5/5/2009 8:09:27 PM 15,478 kb Dell Wireless Enable / Disable UTIL

Still have one unknown device. If someone figures it out, I would appreciate the info.

I can't find the product on InkPool, part # F-M-MCX-M-5. Can you give a link to the product from their site?

I FOUND IT ... I EMAILED THE COMPANY AND THEY SENT ME A LINK TO THE PRODUCT. THANKS

I ordered this part, bought an external antenna from radio shack and it works. My part arrived yesterday. When i hooked up the antenna (cost me $16) i scanned in 35 channels. It works great, except that i have to have the gigantic antenna with me for it to work.

So the key for dell to know is that there is obviously no internal antenna ... Just a tuner. Don't you feel a little deceived?

ok. I think you are talking about the above then that is a $4 adapter. Yes, i agree with you that dell should be including this if you ordered the tuner!

I initially called Dell about getting my TV tuner to work. They couldn't help me but promised me a call back within 2-3 days. They called back, but only to gather some additional information from my computer. They promised to call me back again in another 2-3 days. I haven't heard back from them yet. When they do call, what should I expect them to do? I saw one who said Dell sent them an external Tuner. I think I'd rather have the small antenna that is shown in the Engaget picture when they reported on Dell's new product. Suggestions? But if an external tuner will get me what I want ... to be able to watch TV on my Dell in the event of a Hurricane and power outage ... should I ask for that?

i am searching all over the hp website and i can't find any antennas for digital tv tuners. Can you post a link please?
