Are they going to offer any compensatory measures?
The Dell corporation shouldn't be allowed to set double standards. Could you imagine what would happen if you bought a 3K system on a line of credit, then e-mailed them to say you'd be making this payment a bit late? There goes your credit score.
I think you should be compensated, and if not, I think you should take your business elsewhere.
