the noise is louder on one of the mini10 I have than the other one.
the mini's have different versions of seagate in them. i hear a humming sound with occasionally clicking.
I hope you have a 2gb stick around and try it on you mini10v, since it's already opened.
I doubt dell will put any limit in bios, since they didn't on mini9.
pretty soon there'll be mini10v running osx, I guess

How about the SD card slot? Do SD cards stick out half-way when fully inserted like the Mini 10 or do they click in all the way like the Mini 9?
