Sorry to bug you, but what kind of battery life are you getting? 6 hours with WIFI on, about? Or less? Not looking for an exact number, just a general impression.

I'm looking for a saner machine than my Aspire One 110L (with a SLOOOW SSD) and given Dell's current support of Ubuntu, I'm likely to vote with my dollar...

(the fact that they're available in Canada at a reasonable price, unlike some other netbooks, also helps

The AAO has pretty good battery life (I have a 6 cell), so I'd hate to lose that...

Thanks in advance!

No bother BGE!

I haven't run it all the way down yet, but judging by careful monitoring of the battery meter causes me to estimate about 6 hours of use with Wi-Fi. Basic computing, watching a few vids online and just browsing around.

I could be way off though!

Are you serious? I ordered 5/11, stock config, and it just now shipped today, I should call dell (if I can understand the indian on the other line) and ask them why people who ordered nearly a week after I did are getting their orders shipped before me.

Good enough for me!

Thank you. Looks like the 10v may be the one for me, then

There is no rhyme or reason for the delay for some people. I'm in the same boat, just shipped yesterday. There are people on the west coast and east coast that ordered the EXACT same thing I did that already have theirs. So it doesn't matter where you live and the wifi/color/battery or other options you got. Some system determined what location your system would come out of and you and I and some others just got the slow one.

But, in 4 days it will all be good =]

The screen resolution is adequate. Nothing fantastic, just good. Something was wonky with the factory install of XP; I got an error message that my resolution and color depth were low when in fact both were maxed out.

It makes me wonder if they were swapping parts and installs in and out of regular mini 10 installs.
How do vids look on it, nothing crazy just some moderate Xvid Files..
