I´m sorry, there is no real fullscreen option in that utility. But good to know i could help a bit and show that our hardware "can do".

Hopefully, windows 7 will clear things up. It comes with built-in Hardware Video Acceleration (H.264) and so you just can use Windows Media Player 12 for your HD files. Out of the box, you don´t need third party players or codecs. Even divx-hd works in this: DivX Tech Preview: MKV on Windows 7 | DivX Labs - Everywhere Communication Occurs Community Happens

Acutally i´m running Windows 7 (RC 7100) and it works very well for me. If you want Youtube-HD, even there is a solution until Adobe will update their flash player to support Video Hardware Acceleration: Acer Aspire One User Forum • View topic - Youtube HD (720p) solution

Greetings,
Felix

Download k-lite basic not standard, standard brings BSOD when playing MKV's. No idea why!

I managed to play some formats in hd perfect. .avi 720p was perfect. Mp4 worked great too, but mkv files didn't work. Really strange. I think the hardware is good enough but the driver og the codec isn't good enough.
