Ah but if they haven't changed the graphics card you're out of luck. Sorry about being a buzzkill. OS X doesn't recognize the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 natively.

I believe the graphic card will be the same as Mini 9, so yes it will run OSX - let's see what happens when the new processor is online.

Yup, same Intel 945GSE UMA as the Mini9...
Uses Realtek ALC272 audio chip instead of Realtek ALC268 in the Mini9/VostroA90...

Great news people, I believe 2GB ram is possible, since the Mini 10v has a SO?DIMM socket.

Holy hell.. IF the 10v will indeed be able to run OS X, you're going to see a lot of people jumping ship from the 9. I can almost guarantee you I would be one of them. The only reason though that I would be is the bigger keyboard. Love my 9 and all, but they screwed up when they didn't make the keyboard go all the way across. When you have talons like mine, the Mini 9 keyboard is a pain, and carrying around a USB keyboard usually isn't possible when you're trying to be a minimalist.

Yea baby! I've been comparing the 1010 and 1011 service manuals and that trap door in the bottom is a sight for sore eyes! Motherboards are completely different; keyboard may attach differently; screen looks to have a bezel instead of edge-to-edge glass.
N280 was listed on the .pdf spec. sheet, larger (28 watt) 3-cell battery on the Ubuntu configuration, 1366 display.....

If it WILL run 2GB RAM (@667 with the N280) I will certainly get me one. Put in an OCZ Vertex I have, hope it supports SATA II (vs. doggy SATA I now) and this thing will run well over 4 hours on a 3 cell battery, boot Windows 7 in less than 15 seconds.............just might surpass my M1330 as my do-all laptop/netbook.
Edit: As long as I'm piling it on, the media card reader is different on the 1011. So here's hopes an SD card will seat all the way in like on a Mini 9.

The things I need to get my to jump from my Lenovo S10 would be the option to add the higher res display to this system. If so, I will jump ship. Anyone want a Lenovo S10 with a 9 cell battery?
