Default Stretched web page - 05-07-2009, 02:16 AM

Hi, I just got my mini 10 and I love everything about it, however all web pages, pictures and videos appear stretched. Is this something I can fix, or is it something I have to get used to being that the laptop is so small? I did switch my desktop to 1024x768, but web pages and everything on them are wide and a little annoying.

The native resolution of the Mini 10 (presuming you didn't get the 720i screen at 1366x768) is 1024x576 not 1024x768. Therefore, when your push the resolution above 576 (vertical) - all pages, icons, windows will look strange..? If you reset back, does it look "right" (I'd get into aspect ratios, pixels, etc. - but you asked a pretty simple question ).. And yep - the webpages will take a bit more scrolling at 576 as compared to other netbook screens at 1024x600 or laptop screens at 1024x768...

On my Mini 10 with HD screen:

Right-click on Desktop
Graphics Options
Aspect Ratio Options
Select Maintain Aspect Ratio
