Default SMALL fix to the 1 gig RAM issue - 04-23-2009, 03:17 AM

EagleTec USB Nano Flash Drive

I found this little guy on digg. Since Dell failed to make the SD slot recessed, this might be a better option? I used a 2 gig usb on the dell mini 12 with eboostr and saw a huge improvement. Definitely going to try this out on the 10.

Well, I've tried everything else (including an OCZ Vertex SSD), what's another $22? LOL
Hey, great idea. Thank you. I've got an EagleTec Nano on the way. Which version of eBoostr did you use?

This USB drive is so small, but also so slooowww. How it could help to speed-up a system then its speed is "Up to 15Mb/s Read; Up to 6Mb/s write"?

My opinion: standart Windows page file on fast SSD drive will be a better solution to encrease a system speed. Just my $0.05

Dell Inspiron Mini 12, 1.6 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB HDD, 3 cell battery, MS Windows Vista.
Want to install internal WWAN modem, replace HDD with SSD or CompactFlash.
P.S. English it is not my native language, so, please, excuse me for its poor quality.
