I am considering changing my Acer One A150 for a new Dell Mini 10 and I was pleased to find out that it doesn't have a cooling fan as the Acer's is very whiny.
I have a fan speed program that helps cut down on its usage and I have it set to come on at 60oC and turn of at 550c. I thought that was plenty hot enough for it to get, but I have read that some of you are sometimes running at much higher temperatures?!?!
Does the Mini 10 have a good passive cooling system or is the Atom a lot tougher than I think? I love the idea of having a fanless Mini 10, but do worry about the heat issues. I have noticed since changing from XP to Win7 that my Acer runs a lot hotter.
I only ever use it for web browsing, email etc & the odd video.
Looking forward to any comments.
