Dell has posted the Mini 10 manuals online (well, not directly- managed to get there by manipulating the URL for the Mini 9 manuals).

The service manual and getting starting manual are there- interestingly, there is also a Tech Sheet that has instructions for getting around Ubuntu.

Rather than access from the bottom (as with the mini 9), it appears that you access the innards by removing the keyboard.

Supports two mini-cards; wirelss LAN and mobile broadband.

SIM card card board is on the same board as USB;

Interestingly, the CPU and memory are on a daughterboard- wonder if that is how they can move to 2GB of memory in the future (i.e. we can't upgrade it ourselves- you buy the option and they install CPU/memory together)

If this is to believed, the tuner card is an installable option (whether the initial mini 10's include the interface to install it is another story).

Hard drive is 2.5 in SATA; Dell lists 120, 160, and 250 GB options

They also list the supported trackpad gestures- just like Apples (zoom in/out, rotate, etc). Nice addition- puttuing palm on pad to view desktop; three fingers launches your favorite application

Wow, the CPU/memory on the same board looks bad for any upgrades.

On a positive note, the keyboard doesn't look that hard to remove to get access to the other stuff.

Nice find at any rate.

For those of us who demand silence, it looks to me like this is fanless. Or am I missing something? Replace the HDD with an SSD and it's solid-state like the Mini 9.
