Question intermittent download speed ? - 08-09-2012, 01:49 AM

I have a Mini 10 with Windows 7 Starter, Intel Atom processor, and it has always worked great for what it is, but for the last 2 weeks 1 minute it won't download or downloads super slow, and then other times it runs normal, I have ran crap cleaner, and use AVG virus scan, and it shows no viruses,

I have reset the wireless card and still no luck,

I also went to friends and tried his internet it's still the same ?

Can someone help ??

the speed depends on several factors, 1. your ISP's server, 2. the server to the site you are connecting to, 3. what is running on your laptop on the background and several more such as if you are running wireless a/b/g/n etc.....what speed are you connecting at?, have you tried to switch to a wired connection to see if that makes a difference or not...also sometimes the time of day makes a difference also believe it or not, some servers get busier at certain times than others, and another factor is how many PC's are sharing your bandwidth on your connection.....
