I got it today (3 days shipping only!), taking apart the 1010 is not exactly easy, but you basically just take all the screws out, and the keyboard then comes right off, pry off the top bezel and touchpad wrist rest, and disconnect whatever cables you have to, take out the hard drive. Then 4 screws hold down the daughterboard, remove the zero insertion force clips, and remove the daughterboard. The replacement one I bought does not line up with the old holes so I left the heat sink aluminum panel off and the screws off. If there is an easy way to rig it, let me know.
I didn't notice it being any faster. Netflix is still jerky. Fail!
