I don't know if there is another discussion regarding this issue. If it is I am kindly asking the moderator to move the thread or delete it.

I've notice that on my notebook (win7 starter), I cannot connect an external HDD USB 2.0/3.0 and I have both. A Samsung 1,5 Tb , 3,5 inch and Asus 500 gb 2,5 inch. When I connect to my usb host nothing is happening. Any idea?
Somebody faced same situation?

No idea why doesn't work on USB2.0/3.0?
The other external hdd (only USB 2.0) works ok. The problem is only when I connect the external drives with USB 2.0/3.0
