Default Mini 10 won't turn on, ac adapter light flashes - 01-09-2012, 02:08 PM

Hi,

The other night my mini turned off in the middle of the night and I cannot get it to turn back on. Hitting the power button just makes the led on the computer blink red and then go off.

When I plug the adapter into the computer the light on the ac adapter cord (not on the laptop) that glows green when the cord is plugged into the wall (but not plugged into the laptop) starts flashing.

Dell's support is not very helpful and I can't determine what a flashing light on the adapter means or how I can fix this. I appreciate any help you all can offer.

Thanks!

when you connect it to the Mini is the battery in or out, try both ways, the Mini WILL run without the battery in, or at least it should....that will eliminate the battery issue
