OK, just took delivery of the Mini 10...except it isn't a Mini 10. Tesco have sent a Mini 9 instead - all the usual specs for a Win XP Mini 9, 8.9 inch display, 1Gb RAM, 8Gb SSD, etc. So this is going back tomorrow for a refund :x

Not really surprised - it did seem unbelievable that Tesco were offering this model even before Dell.

Oh well. I thought that might happen - because of the specs. But it's still a bit dodgy for them to send a 9 out because they have clearly advertised a 10 - even with a n270.

I ordered mine on Weds and collected it from Tescos last night.

Sadly they'd sent me a Mini 9 too (which is showing on their site now as discontinued) and now, of course, it's out of stock.

Their site shows it as having a 160gb hard drive. How do they explain that? And the 10 isn't supposed to have the n270, it's supposed to have the z520 or whatever z series Atom it is.. Morons.

I call it pure fraud, scam or anyhthing else you care to call it!! Pretty sneaky of them to advertise the 10 and then ship the 9 thinking you will keep it. I wouldn't buy crap from them if it was me. This sounded fishy to me right from the start with them advertising the 10's for sale when Dell hasn't even announced them on their site.

Mistakes happen, but why wouldn't you CALL or EMAIL your customers first and verify they actually wanted a Mini 9 after fixing the error on your site. Or just flat out cancel all the orders and send an email with a $20 off future orders coupon or something.

Posted on engadget that the Mini 10's on Tesco are actually Mini 9's and they took that item down. Going to be disappointed when it arrives and its another 9.
