Default Replace mini 1010 monitor with 1366x768 HD Screen - 11-15-2011, 08:23 AM

Can somebody tell me if is it posible to change my dell screen with a 1366x768 HD Screen. I ve seen it on ebay but they warn that we should choose the standard resolution for replacing the OEM one.

Is there any compatibility?

its much easier just to order it that way in the 1st place like I did, but yes it is possible to upgrade to the HD screen and I believe it is a MUST if you have the TV Tuner like I do

I wish I had done that. Thank God I got the GPS option. I did not know I had it, until recently that I found out that GPS is activated with the SonyEricsson Drivers and aplication. The GPS is intergated with the High speed Inetrnet modem.

Do you think that I can add a TV module also? I supose that there must be a free pci-e mini port on my mobo. The only thing to do is to carefully drill a hole on the chasis.

you'd probably be better off just buying a USB TV Tuner......there is a hole on the left side as you mentioned where the antenna plugs in and who knows what else needs to be done, much easier done the way I did it and just ordered it that way, it may be more expensive but I wanted it done right....NO HEADACHES and by the time you add this and add that you probably will have spent close to what I did anyway and most likely have problems with it too......Good Luck anyway.......

I'd like to know if this upgrade works also...? I heard elsewhere it works on a 1010, but not a 1011.
