I definately have had a performance boost. No thermal issues that I can tell. The only other upgrade I've done with my mini is upgrading to windows 7 awhile back. Everything is working great. I expect no problems in six months or beyond.

Carry on the good work dude!!! hope you won't need a new mobo.

The item is still currently unavailable. Anyone know anywhere else can buy for the same one?

I found a 1010 on ebay, bought it. Took out the 2GB board, the HD screen and the bluetooth module, switched them out with mine, put it all back together and have a friend who wants to buy it now. No wasted boards.

there is NO daughter board for the 1012 or any other system, it takes a regular DDR RAM chip, as far as I know the only system that requires the daughter board replacement to upgrade to 2gb is the 1010, that person on Ebay doesnt seems to have their facts correct or its total BS to begin with

PS. Yes you have the correct part number but that is NOT compatible with any other system other than the 1010 either

I think that it is clearly statad 1010. The number 12 after must be something else. If he wanted to mislead 1012 users he should write "1010 1012".
