Default mini 10 beeps 1, 4, 3 - 04-15-2011, 05:11 PM

hi all,..

my son's mini 10 beeps when you press the power butten, 1, (pause) 4, (pause) 3.....
nothing more...

can anybody help me ??

any help is highly appreciated

You might want to call Dell on this one. Sounds like your system is not accessing part of the system to tell it what to do and that is why the beeps happen. They have codes that can tell you what the beeps are trying to tell you; and let you know what the problem is. It could be a bunch of things; but probably only Dell or the BIOS manufacturer can give you exactly what the beep code is telling you. It could be, bad BIOS; loose or bad memory, bad mother board, etc, etc. fdalbor

that is not a good beep code, if this chart is correct its the mother board.....

thats for Phoenix BIOS and I believe thats what the Dells have in them......
