I have found 3 Mini 1010's not the 10v. The 1010 has the daughterboards. I have found that the 1.3 and the 1.6 daughter boards have a bad connection( I am guessing with the ram). I have found that if you reflow the boards the freezing stops and overall speed of the pc is increased drasticly!! 9 mounths ago I reflowed a 1.3ghz/1gb ram daughterboard with a heat gun and has worked flawlessly ever since. Since that time 2 other mini's have come to us with the same issue. Both were fixed in the same manor and all three are working still(XP/WIN7). If you have a mini with a frezzing issue and the HDD passes, the mobo checks out, reflow the daughter board! It has worked for us! Please if your mini is still covered by Dell send it back, if it is not this could save you some money! Hope this helps someone.
