Default Mini 10 won't turn on with battery plugged in - 01-16-2011, 09:20 AM

Hey so I've got a Dell mini 10 and yesterday it started not turning on.

So wake up in the morning and it won't turn on, tired various combinations to get it to turn on and the only solution seems to be to take the battery out and plug in the power cord.

After an extended period of time it just won't turn on with the battery in and I have to take it out, plug in the AC power turn it on, put the battery back in with the power on and only then can I remove the power.

Any ideas, it's taken the 'portable' out of my 'portable notebook'?

Should point out I'm using BIOS A11.

The battery is still holding charge fine and after performing the above I can turn it off and on again without the power in for some time, just after an extended period of time with it off I have to do the above again.
