Found lots of talk in the forum reference Readyboost, mostly people saying they are going to give it a go.
Question is, have any of you actually tried it?
Fed up with slower and slower performance under XP I reinstalled my Mini 1010 to Windows 7 last weekend - will create another thread with my thoughts on this soon.
Purchased a class 4 SDHC from Kingston which is ReadyBoost ready. Put it in the Mini, Windows 7 said it does not meet the performance requirements.
Tried a USB stick, Windows 7 said it does not meet the performance requirements.
So the question is, have any of you actually found a device that works on the Mini 1010 with Windows 7 Readyboost? I am not convinced that the cards I am plugging are the issue, possibly the overall slowness of the 1010 just not shifting data fast enough, or possibly awful drivers (using the drivers shown on the Windows 7 thread).
