Didn't take any pics. Sorry. As far as the logo goes, same way as the original post. Could also use tinted epoxy. A google search will locate plenty of how to carbon fibre laminate. If i ever do another I'll water-jet the logo. As it is my primary, I couldn't do without it for another week. Red carbon with a red tinted epoxy would be nice too. Hmmmm........ anybody know if Dell sells replacement lids?

And use slow cure epoxy. Use a heat gun to break up bubbles. I realized mine didn't work after i poured epoxy. Boooooooo me.

And the carbon fibre will cut your wifi signal in half. Be advised.

Dell DOES sell replacement lids, but i got mine on ebay, about half the price, and with an extra webcam.

and.. *what* didn't work after you poured the epoxy... the heat gun?

Yea the heat gun. It help to extract the bubbles. Also cures faster. That's why should have used slow cure epoxy. Also wifi signal is horrible now. Really weak. Tried to move antenna below keyboard and it was worse there. The carbon fiber acts as a RF barrier of sorts. I've heard that it scrambles the waves. Not really a technical term, but thats the way it was explained to me. I figured it was worth the risk though. I only use my mini at home. While I was there also did the WD blue 500g drive and the 2g ram stick. It's a little quicker I guess. I really wish that I would have water-jetted the logo.
Thanks for the link too!!
