Default TV Tuner stopped working - 03-31-2010, 12:51 PM

Hi,

my TV tuner worked absolutely fine when I received my mini 1010 and I used the dell tv application for watching.
However, it stopped working. I played around with drivers in the meantime but I cannot pinpoint the failure to a specific action I have done.

Can one of you, whose TV Tuner works on Windows XP post the driver version he uses? Best would be with screenshot and/or download link.

Best regards,
minis

I know it is not nice to bump the threads, but is there no one here running XP and willing to share working driver confiuration information? Any information might be helpful.

Thanks,
minis

Just try the driver from my list.
It's working in Wi7, should also be suitable for Win XP.

Both Dell & Win TV Application do run but don't pick up any channels at the same location where it worked before.

Question 04-21-2010, 09:28 PM

Hello minis,

I'm using Win 7 Media Center.
I'm not using the Dell or Win TV Application.

Where are you living - USA, Europe???
Can you send me the Hardware-IDs (you can find this within device manager).

For me it is: USB\VID_2040&PID_2011
Maybe your's is different.

Greetings Zero

Hi,

I live in Germany and the hardware ID is:
USB\Vid_2040&Pid_2011&Rev_0001
so it seems the same.

I use driver 4.2.26.28027 from Haupauge but tried some others as well before.

Sadly I do not know with which driver it worked...

Did you try the App and driver from Dell homepage?
Did you also check if the antenna is correctly plugged in?

Well.... it was indeed the Antenna. Moving around helped a lot...
Embarassing...
