to load Windows onto a USB Flash drive, I suggest getting an 8gb and then go into the BIOS on the Mini and change your boot from Hard Drive to "Legacy USB" and install which ever version of Windows you want, I like Win 7 and it runs very nice on the Minis. I happen to have both Win XP Pro and Win 7 Ultimate on mine....but you really dont need ultimate. Win 7 Pro would be fine..
