Cool Downgrade Mini 1010 from Win 7 to XP Pro - 03-03-2010, 12:17 AM

Is anyone aware of any problems or limitations running XP Pro on the 1010 platform?

Are there any special process' to follow with a bootable CD install or is it necessary to mount XP Pro on a USB drive?

I have SP 1 with SP 2 slipstreamed to a bootable disc. Win 7 Starter is currently installed and operating on the 1010.

The 1010 also has lojack partition - if I remember correctly.

Thanks in advance

XP runs fine..just make sure you have all the updated drivers, you can install from either an extenal hard drive or USB Flash..just be sure to change your boot options in the BIOS to Legacy USB first

I run both XP and Win 7 Ultimate on my 1010 and they both run great
