Default Wwan? - 03-01-2010, 01:45 AM

I bought a mini 1010 off the dell outlet about a month ago. The specs listed a 1520 N card, bluetooth, digital tv tuner, etc. All of which I've used.

The specs also listed something about WWAN that I can't recall now. It definitely didn't say "No WWAN" like most of the ones I look at now say.

I don't see anything about WAN in the System Devices of the Device Manager. Am I missing it or have I gotten hosed?

Look up the service tag - it should show you what the configuration is.

no wwan means it does not have the 3G antennas built into the screen casing. when you order one configured from dell w/wwan, it will have those antennas embedded into the screen casing, like the wifi antennas.
